Middle Palguin

So just before our trip to Argentina which will be on the blog soon, Demshitz Graham and Evan were super fired up to go look at middle palguin, a beautiful 70 footer on the Palguin river just outside of Pucon. It was high water, so the entrance to the waterfall was super intense with gnarly boils. Evan ran first having a crazy line in which he did a crazy corkscrew off the 70 footer. he came out unscathed and fired up to go run it again, what a crazy most people just don't lap 70 footers. Graham came next with a sick line gutting it straight down the middle, breaking his paddle and blowing his skirt, but was able to get to shore easily. Evan, after doing some safety for graham ran back up and ran again. His line was much better this time, taking a left stroke at the lip, and Boof to stomping a 70 footer. He pulled his bow down just enough to have a perfect entry angle. Demshitz gettin it done.

Panqui First Descent

So a little while ago, Rodrigo took us down the panqui at pretty low water. We cruised down the top section, and then came to "the portage", a super low volume 60 footer. Rodrigo and Ian fired it up. Evan, Graham, and Jared and I ran safety and took media. This river is a small, low volume creek about 40 mins out of Pucon. No one has previously ran the 60 footer. The rest of the run has 4 little ledge type drops in a super cool gorge.

The exit coming out of the gorge just after the 60 footer, STOUT no one ran this, however it goes, but you best be ready.

Rodrigo ran second, and had a decent line for such a hard waterfall. He did go over the bars a bit.

This drop is super hard, and luckily everyone came out without injury, only a broken paddles, but mostly,  broken egos.

Desahue El Rio De Mi Corazon

Aight so since I last updated, we ran the puesco, the nevados, and the coilaco 30ftr.  I forgot my memory card for my camera on those days so i do not have photos, but we plan to get back on them soon.It has been a good few days of insanely sick kayaking. Chile is the most beautiful place I have ever been to, the rivers here are so amazing, the mountains are huge, the girls are too hot for their own good, and the parties are super fun. This is the way I like to live my life.

The Desahue is the river we have been running primarily. It is an amazing river with millions of perfect ten footers, perfect auto boofs, and a couple 30 ish footers. The water is crystal clear. I love this river.
